What Support Do ALONE Residents Receive?
ALONE offers a responsive Housing Support Service which aims to sustain residents’ independent living and quality of life. Professional staff members develop support plans with those who avail of the service, based on their needs and interests. Residents ask for support for a variety of reasons including when they are settling-in; if they are ill or need to spend some time in hospital; if they want advice about welfare benefits or external support services; if they are lonely. Levels of support are flexible as individual needs change.

ALONE Housing Is Home
ALONE maintains its properties to a high standard and looks after communal areas to ensure a pleasant environment. We provide basic furnishings and residents are encouraged to decorate their own homes and to make improvements if they want. Residents sign a simple tenancy agreement and are expected to show consideration to their neighbours. They are free to have guests, keep pets and otherwise carry on their lives as they wish.

We are committed to involving residents wherever possible in decisions which affect them; We invite those who are interested to participate in meetings and to respond to occasional surveys about quality of housing and support.
