CRM (Salesforce) Administrator

ALONE is a national organisation that supports and empowers older people to age happily and securely at home. We support individuals and their families, work with other organisations, and campaign nationwide to improve the lives of older people. We work with all older people, including those who are lonely, isolated, frail or ill, homeless, living in poverty, or are facing other difficulties. We support them through these challenges to help them find long term solutions.

 

Role Overview

Operations at ALONE is responsible for the following areas: Quality, IT, Training, Risk, Strategic and Business planning, Impact Evaluation plus day-to-day operations. The role of the CRM Administrator will be to support the organisation by maintaining our existing CRM and ensuring it supports the organisation to deliver on our strategic goals as we grow.

 

This role will report to the IT Manager.

 

Responsibilities

All staff within ALONE are expected to adhere to the legislation, standards, policies and procedures that apply to ALONE.

 

Main duties

  • Manage and improve Alones custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other CRM Objects
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards and be a point of contact for staff reporting requests
  • Ensure all Salesforce processes and workflows are documented
  • Support departments to understand and improve CRM and deliver on changes
  • Support with duties specific to compliance obligations (GDPR)
  • Perform database maintenance tasks and ensure data integrity standards are upheld.
  • To liaise with external technical partners/consultants
  • Perform system updates such setting up new users/ deactivating past users and purchasing new licenses.
  • Provide support to staff using ALONEs CRM platform via internal ticket system adhering to response times.
  • Work with Training & Development to create a range of training modules on the CRM in a variety of formats
  • When required, provide training to staff and other organisations
  • Contribute to ICT projects, app integration projects and other strategic deliverables as required
  • You may be required to undertake additional duties or tasks as required.

 

 

Essential skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in Salesforce Administration
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and articulate complex business requirements and potential solutions, with consideration of technical challenges, inter-department effects, and business issues
  • Detailed understanding of Salesforce. Understanding of data integration tools
  • Experience answering user queries and providing technical support to users
  • Ability to proactively manage and priorities workload
  • Strong experience in capturing functional requirements and writing documentation
  • Experience work with and develop reports in response to specific ad-hoc requests

Desirable skills

 

  • BA/BS or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Design or related field
  • Salesforce Certified Admin highly desirable
  • MS Power BI

 

Further Details

The position is an initial 2-year fixed term contract.  We work a 35-hour week.  The position will require some travel.  The salary range offered for this position is €40,000 to €48,000 depending on skills and experience.
