ALONE ECC End of Year Report 2025
ALONE’s End of Year 2025 Enhanced Community Care (ECC) report highlights continued growth, strengthened partnerships, and measurable impact on the lives of older people nationwide. This marks the organisation’s fourth year under the HSE’s ECC programme, supporting older adults to age at home with dignity and independence.
In 2025, ALONE supported over 46,500 older people across services, a total of 12,690 personalised needs assessments were conducted, a 16% increase from the previous year with over 93% receiving at least one support coordination intervention, demonstrating timely access to support. In 2025, over 52,000 targeted support coordination (SC) interventions were delivered, in addition to nearly 200,000 Support and Befriending calls, over 111,000 Support and Befriending visits nationwide, and more than 10,000 seasonal interventions to older people who requested additional support at Christmas time.
