Walk with us and challenge yourself to the Boyne Valley Camino Loop while raising vital funds to support ALONE’s work with older people.

Enjoy a rewarding day of walking through stunning scenery, with plenty of fun along the way, all while making a meaningful difference to the lives of older people across Ireland.

About The Boyne Valley Camino Loop

The Boyne Valley Camino Loop is one of nine Celtic Camino routes officially recognised by the Camino Society of Ireland.

Beginning at St. Peter’s Church in Drogheda, this scenic 25km loop walk winds through the historic Boyne Valley, taking in riverside trails, woodlands, country roads, canal paths, and iconic landmarks including Old Mellifont Abbey, Townley Hall Woods, and Oldbridge, before looping back to St. Peter’s Church.

We will provide you with an official Celtic Camino Passport on the day and you will be able to collect your stamps along the route!

Whether you’re walking as an individual or as part of a team, our staff will be present to ensure you have a point of contact on the route.

Registration

Tickets are €25 per participant and can be purchased through the Eventbrite link

Your registration includes:

An official ALONE event T-shirt
A Celtic Camino Passport
An ALONE gift bag

Fundraising

In addition to the registration fee, each participant is required to raise a minimum of €300 in sponsorship. Every euro you raise will help ALONE continue our vital work tackling loneliness and supporting older people across Ireland to age safely and happily at home.
